Installation Requirements

All systems require 1/4" x thickness of glass x 3" calcium silicate setting blocks placed at sill quarter points. Each lite of Pyrobel must be inspected prior to installation for damage including review of edge protecting tape. (DO NOT INSTALL GLASS THAT HAS BEEN DAMAGED.) Pyrobel must be glazed with 1/8" x 1/2" closed cell foam glazing tape. Exterior glazing must have PVB side facing to exterior side. All glazing must be sealed with neutral cure silicone around perimeter of both sides. DO NOT PRESSURE GLAZE PYROBEL PRODUCTS.
