Pyrobel-60™

Pyrobel-60™ is a clear fire rated glazing for 60 minute applications with hose stream. It is safety tested and rated to meet all local, regional, state and federal code requirements. In case of fire, the intumescent interlayers expand at about 250℉ to form a rigid and opaque barrier, blocking both convected and radiated heat transmission. This ensures effective egress for building occupants as well as the prevention of fire expansion due to the spontaneous combustion of materials on the protected side. Pyrobel-60™ is listed for use in doors, transoms, sidelites, borrowed lites and complete transparent wall assemblies as allowed by model building codes.
