The Vision 60 System offers architects and designers what they have wanted for years—the ability to have a rated, continuous glazed transparent wall, uninterrupted by intermediate framing‹with the added benefit of an STC rating of 42dB. This system is ideal for transportation facilities such as airports, retail centers, commercial office buildings, hospitals, schools and any other location where uninterrupted viewing would be aesthetically pleasing. The glazing panels are separated by a maximum space of 4mm, which is filled with Dow Corning 745s neutral silicone caulking (or other 100% pure silicone) and cured for a minimum of 30 days. Pyrobel-60 is available for the Vision 60 System in maximum panel sizes of 4' x 8', and can be glazed either horizontally or vertically, but not stacked. Additionally, decorative profiles of aluminum, wood or steel may be applied to the face of the glazing to cover the silicone joints and add to the aesthetics of the surrounding area.
