Quick-Frame™ is designed for 45, 60, 90 and 120 minute framing
with Pyrobel-45-16™, Pyrobel-60-25™, Pyrobel 90-37™ and
Pyrobel 120-52™. It also provides 60 and 120 minute transparent
non-load bearing wall systems utilizing Pyrobel-60-25 and Pyrobel
120-52. Due to the nature of this system with Pyrobel products the
temperature rise is well within range of the 250°F temperature rise
which satisfies all wall test standards. Thus, walls no longer have to
be a barrier to free vision and can offer an open, environmentally
pleasing setting. Also, since codes limit glazing to 25% of the wall
area the use of the new "transparent wall system" allows an additional
level of glazing as never before.
This fast and inexpensive system for fire rated glazing is the perfect
answer in meeting the designers requirement for unique interior designs
without using standard hollow metal framing normally required for fire
window installations.
