| Pyrobel-120-53™ fire rated glazing is a clear 2 1/8"
(52mm) glazing rated at 120 minutes with hose stream. It is safety
tested and rated to meet all local, regional, state and federal code
requirements. The special multi-intumescent interlayer makeup of Pyrobel
offers outstanding fire protection with limited temperature rise as well
as excellent acoustical qualities. In case of fire the intumescent
interlayers expand at about 120° C and transform into a rigid and
opaque shield effectively blocking both convected and radiated heat
transmission. This ensures effective egress for building occupants as
well as the prevention of fire expansion due to the potential of
spontaneous combustion of materials on the protected side. |

bearing wall assemblies as allowed by model building codes and local
